On every reservation, 1% of the proceeds will be donated each quarter to a different local charity doing good work in our region. Proceeds are donated directly by Andon-Reid Inn Bed and Breakfast to the charity or non-profit organization out of the proceeds of your room rates. When you stay at the Andon-Reid, you can feel good knowing that a portion of the money from your stay goes right back into the local community

Our program is designed to be hyper-local and support organizations having a direct and meaningful impact on our immediate community. We look for organizations with a strong footprint in Haywood County that tackle specific needs for the people of our region. Your innkeepers get together quarterly to choose a different charity that we believe in and support. We announce the selected charity via our newsletter and on this page.

For Q3 of 2026 (July - September), we are donating to REACH of Haywood, a local non-profit supporting survivors of sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, stalking, elder abuse, and human trafficking in Haywood County. Reach also operates a great resale and thrift shop in the Hazelwood district about a mile from the Inn that supports the funding and operations of the organization.

We started the program in late 2024 in response to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene on our area at the end of September of that year. Since then, we have donated over $4,300 to some great organizations.
