Of course, we have to start with a gift certificate for a stay at the Andon-Reid. Our gift certificates are purchasable and redeemable online, so it’s convenient for everyone! If you know someone who has a trip planned to see us already, you could also consider purchasing one of our experience upgrades or add-ons for them to add a little more magic to their stay. For anyone who might be considering a trip to Waynesville and Haywood County, purchasing “Elk Bucks” from our VisitHaywood.com, our local tourism development agency, is a great way to enhance someone’s stay and support our Haywood County local businesses at the same time. We also highly recommend visiting Select Registry or the Asheville B&B Association and exploring gift certificate options for those sites. We are members of both organizations and can vouch for the quality of the Inns in both. Select Registry offers gift certificates directly (which you can use for a stay at the Andon-Reid), and Asheville BBA directs you to individual Inns to purchase. Both are great ways to give a craft lodging experience this year, instead of more fads and gadgets.
Enhance a Stay with Great Beverages
At the Inn, since we don’t have an ABC license, we don’t provide any alcoholic beverages for purchase. However, we have many great small businesses in town that offer gift certificates and can help enhance a stay with tasty adult beverages. Our two craft breweries in town, Boojum and Frog Level, have unique and creative brews for all tastes, and Blue Bridge Beer Hub has a great selection of brews in a charming location just off Main Street. Our two wine shops in town, Bosu’s and The Classic Wineseller, are also great options to find that perfect bottle to relax with by the fire or out on the porch.
And while we do offer Waynesville Soda Jerks products complimentary in our guest lounge, they are another great option to gift someone amazing flavors to enhance their stay and stock that mini-fridge in the room!
